Easy Feat

Unfortunately the Fuse Armor debuff that Razorscale puts up means that he needs to be taunted every 20-40 seconds. In order to do this one only a pet and one other tank, you'd really have to stretch out the number of stacks of Fuse Armor you and the other tank are taking since you're going to be able to taunt once. If your normal tank tanks first, that'll give you two normal taunt phases, and third phase where the normal tank will hold him as long as he can before he bites the bullet, and assuming he's still second on threat a fourth and final phase with your pet until he goes down. I'm not sure exactly how long that'll give you, but I'd think your dps is going to have to be on their game and your other tank is going to need to really crank out the TPS to give your pet a large threat lead when he taunts so the DPS doesn't have to hold back.

That part may be very challenging, but as far as just tanking the Sentinels in phase 1 it should be very simple.

Off tanking sentinels shouldn't be a problem, as long as you have at least 2 main tanks for the other 2 packs and for Razorscale phase 2.

Seeing that the reason you want to burn down the sentinel so fast normally is because he does immense damage to the tank is a bit negated by the lack of damage he does to your pet, so your pet could get the threat up before turning ranged on him to nuke it down.

The bad part about this is that you'll do so much less damage, and with one less dps:er (especially for 10 man) you may be looking at 3 landings before he's grounded, and thus the enrage timer will be at risk.

Umm. Didn't Blizz nerf the taunt ability for pets because of Ulduar bosses? Meaning: pets can't taunt on some bosses. It just doesn't work like on bosses where it's allowed.

Somebody could be really kind and produce a guide as to which bosses are immune, is there any way to find out apart from the hard way?

Think the hard way is the only way.

As for tanking Razorscale, your pet will not have near enough threat at start of phase 2 to get hold of him.

Maybe we should start a sticky thread that people could report each major boss in heroics and raids, listing which ones were immune and which ones weren't.
