Hunter tanks are "old"? Empty Hunter tanks are "old"?

Something that struck me about the introduction thread is that a lot of the hunters here are quite mature at age (as in no teenagers). Several of us are engaged or married. I think this shows quite well how serious hunter tanking is. It's not just some teenage fantasy dream, but a symbol of thinking outside of the box.

On the same kick I just read stats over at .... ermmm IGN maybe... that less than 25% of all gamers are under 18 and the average age is 35 if you can believe that!

Actually, I can. Games as a medium is starting to get old, and when the people I grew up with never really stopped playing games. That's why the average age today is starting to get quite high. When we're 65, I bet a lot of us will still be playing games Wink

You can count on it!

My mom is 80 and plays Diablo II like a fiend! She loves the Barbarian.

I do think it makes very much sense that the "older" players would be interested in pet tanking, namely because our motives for playing the game might be different. A different viewpoint on in-game status than, say, a much younger or less-mature player.
Interesting people solving problems different ways ... totally my cup of tea.
